  • Team as of Apr 2013: 1 FTE (CEO Jeffrey Korn) + 8 part-time members + 1 intern.
  • Team Forecast for Summer 2013: 4 FTE, 4 part-time members.

 
Talkler Labs will initiate payroll after its first round of seed funding, anticipated by early summer. As such, team members cannot be called “employees.” Talkler team members are devoted stakeholders. Key players will become full-time employees Summer 2013.

Team Members

Jeffrey Korn, Founder + CEO: 21+ years in UX and tech design. Launched award-winning UX firms Studio Eye-Q and Jeffrey Korn Creative (AT&T, AOL, Time Life Pictures, H&M, Barnes & Noble, American Cancer Society). Led UX for the launch of Everbank, first internet-only bank (IPO May 2012). 16+ yrs teaching creative leadership at Harvard Business School, Columbia and around the world.

Alex Lynch, leads Talkler’s dedicated Dev Team: A recognized pioneer of iOS app development — one of the first App Store developers. Led dev teams of top-ranked apps for General Mills, IAM and Bitzer, millions of downloads, Top 100 Utilities in 2011 and 2012.

Peter Miller, tech lead: 25+ yrs in IT and tech sector. 14+ yrs directing the technology group at WGBH, nation’s largest provider of public broadcasting services.

Larry Buckley, marketing lead: 23+ yrs of creative campaigns, Philips, Blue Cross, Staples, Fidelity. Co-founded Pontes/Buckley in 1989, leading Boston ad agency.

Josh Schwaber, social media: leading analytics efforts and responsible for the online consumer dialogue across all Talkler online assets — Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.

Hallie Baron, public relations: 30+ years of communications and PR strategy for large firms and non-profits, from Charles Schwab to Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Parkinson’s Institute.

Advisors

Carolyn Feinstein, SVP Global Marketing for Electronic Arts (EA), dominant force in mobile apps.

Stuart Patterson, formerly CEO SpeechWorks, early leader in speech; led SpeechWorks’ IPO in 2000, and merger with Scansoft/Nuance.
